as someone who’s obsessed w making my eyes look huge w makeup, this seems like my area of expertise lol. the most dramatic thing that helps me is doing thick cat eye eyeliner, with the part in the beginning of the eye and middle being thin and then having the wing be the thick part (if that makes sense). however i feel that for eyeliner it def depends more on your eye shape, so using a dark liquid liner and drawing such a cat eye may not be the best route for everyone. i recommend simply trying lots of different looks on yourself and seeing what works best, this is what i did. secondly is false lashes- they really are not that big of a hassle once you learn how to work with them. once again, the type of lash greatly depends on eye shape, whether you’re looking for something that is long and wispy or flared to give a cat eye effect. lashes are something that definitely took me a while to figure out which shape looked best on my eyes, but once i did, it looked great. thirdly, i HIGHLY recommend drawing aegyo sal under the eyes. it brings a balance to all the makeup on the lid, and this was a game changer for me. my eyes look so much bigger and more youthful when i draw aegyo sal, especially when i add a little highlight between my lashes and the actual line itself.

make sure to not draw the line in too dark and harsh or else it will look fake, and to draw it pretty close to the lash line (not super close or else you can’t see it, not super far so it looks fake and bad). there’s lots of tutorials on how to perfect this w makeup on youtube as well

finally, this is just another random thing but for me, i noticed my eyes look bigger when i wear dark contacts. i have light green eyes naturally, but when i wear dark brown contacts my eyes look more doe like and bigger i guess? this of course depends on your natural eye color and such, but for me anyways if i ever want to take my look up a notch and look extra good i always wear those contacts.

sorry this is so long lol, for me making my eyes look huge is my primary goal when doing my eye makeup, and doing these four things really upgraded my eyes a ton!! i can’t imagine doing my eye makeup without them now. hope this helps !!!
