I'm just gonna be honest - my first impressions of your comment, are that you seem like the kinda guy who plays a game like Devil May Cry for 10 minutes and says its just "Mash Buttons: The Game" all the while ignoring everything cool about it and never bothering to understand the game past a very shallow surface level.

That said if you want to know from a fan of F-Zero - well its the gameplay, atmosphere and the music for me.

Just watch this video Look at some of the techniques the player does. GX probably has some of the tightest gameplay in any racing game. The Skill ceiling is insanely high and some of things you can are mind blowing

And thats just only focusing on GX. The other F-zero games also have really good gameplay.

As I mentioned earlier, the music in the F-Zero series is also amazing. There's a reason Big Blue and Mute City have been remixed countless times by Nintendo themselves. Just listen to this album, it kicks ass.
