Except with the brown and black people just “not being attractive” to someone as ok, implies they think race is a sexual orientation.

One can be attracted to women, and not be attracted to every woman, it is not unusual to therefore say one is not attracted to men. But it is unusual to say one can be attracted to white people, not every white person, but is never attracted to black and brown people.

I’m a hapa filipino— half white, half asian. I look white, but am still an SE asian. If they become “unattracted” to me because they find this out, or because they believe non-white people are “xyz stereotype behavior/appearance”, that IS racist.

And if its about skin color, they don’t go around telling people “i only am attracted to pale skin tones and blonde hair”, since ya know, there are mixed black people who have those traits too.

“Attraction” based solely on race is rarely if ever, about being attracted to “certain features”, since saying only xyz race has “certain features” is untrue.
