Hi just chiming in to say I almost did this but the logistics were insane. It was less than half the price to go with a venue. Things we didn't realize we needed until we started getting serious about looking into it: - wait staff for the meal, catering - food storage so nobody gets food poisoning - washing a huge amount of dishes - bathrooms, running water, electricity - trailers to move all this crap there - a dancefloor - there's no wifi or cell service (bad for emergencies or even just playing music) - SURFACES!! Its hard to find just general surfaces to put stuff of - tables, chairs, cutlery, napkins (laundry), toilet paper, mirrors, glassware (and subsequent and inevitably broken glass), etc - transportation into the bush, no taxis or Ubers (read: drunk uncle gets lost in the bushes and friends can't get home)

Honestly I would advise saving yourself the cash and the headache.
