Im using SAO Silica lv 80 with R3 gacha, non matching element dagger. I am in no way better than anybody but heres some of my tips and tactics that i would like to share.
I always start off the battle with ss3 then run up and parry.
I think the highest dps after every parry is 7 attacks followed by ss1. When done right ss1 will be both crits. You wanna turn on sound for this. Silica hits in 2-2-3, at the sound of the 6th hit you wanna use ss1, if pulled off correctly every 9 hits will be crits. (I still cannot pull this off 100%)
Go into guard straight away after your 9 hits combo because you will have no time to fit in more attacks. Ready to parry his next move but if he were to use the unparriable upperswing, you can actually dodge the first part with ss1 then parry part 2 which is parriable. If its the unparriable backswing just move away then position back.
After you parry his sperm, depending on your mp you have 2 different ways to deal maximum damage.
-A) use ss1 thrice if you have mp and your attack buff will not be running out.
-B) use the 9 hits combo twice if you are low on mp or you are at the 50 sec-1min mark because you need mp to rebuff.
-C) use the 9 hits combo then rebuff if you are at the 55sec-1min mark.
Do note that sometimes he will only go through the debuff animation once so do keep an eye on him. Always take note of how much mp you have because the att buff on ss3 is ALOT. You can always rebuff after a parry.
