I loaded El Cap using Clover and renamed EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi. Now I cannot access the Windows bootloader, (clover is still here), so I cannot boot into Windows. In Clover however I see 2 additional options: 'Boot Windows from HD4' and 'Boot Windows from HD6', both of which lead to grey underline flashing on a black screen forever, and then the pc reboots...

From my understanding the installing Windows should've overwritten Clover, however after installing Windows I could still spin up both Clover and Windows.

So now I cleared the partition in which I installed Windows, I installed Windows again, and I can boot into both Clover and Windows Bootloader (I can boot into the windows bootloader directly from the f12 boot menu, or from clover itself). If I rename EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi I won't be able to boot into the Windows bootloader, and Windows will be unaccessible because I cannot boot into it directly from Clover.

What should I do here?
