Othering does help make an enemy, and it does help utilize a natural me versus you us versus them response that is wired in our biology; Moreso as men than women have it, to boot! We are much more competitive and we like fights and winning even more than they do so it appeals to our natural state of being to set us up on opposing lines of a war.
Unfortunately, the illusion is difficult for me to maintain because I am knowledgable and experienced with men, women, and collective human nature and realize everyone thinks they are doing the right thing and no one truly thinks they exist solely to be an adversary for someone else.
When I realized that women as much as men were operating off of good intentions (the road to Hell) and earnestly mean to do well by both genders even when they do a hideously bad or counter productive job at it, I found it hard to maintain the illusion that there is a group of feminists "out to get me".
What appears to be deliberate sabotage is usually the result of horrid incompetence and ignorance. Curing those, and sublimating someone's good intentions, is the path I have chosen as my way of being a human.
I appeal to self identified feminist's good intentions and pull up lots of data and study and combine that with persuasive/impassioned communication skills and teach them that men are different and by ignoring or suppressing or punishing those differences causes a lot of problems for all sexes and all orientations and all gender identities as they so call themselves.
Beyond some fringe, angsty posts on tumblr or some rare exceptions proving the rule, people don't really exist as out to get men or anyone really.
But, I gotta say, charging at windmills and imaginary monsters under the bed motivates a lot of men to better themselves and improve their physical bodies, their will power, their mental image, their drive, so on and so forth.
TRP doesn't concern itself with morality and they pride themselves as the ends justifying the means in many, but not all, scenarios. So I don't think most of the senior men at TRP are eager to dispel an illusion that is serving as self motivating fuel for men to better themselves, their station, and their social standing.
As long as the smoke screen of a terrible enemy or conspiracy exists to motivate men to better themselves, the wizard is not eager to reveal himself behind his curtain.
TL;DR, TRP is primarily about self improvement and everything falls second to that goal, even truth.
