Truly an advantage when companies say a vehicle is built from ground up as an EV?

My i4 is the best car I’ve ever driven, so I’d say it doesn’t matter at all. In fact, it gives an apples to apples comparison. I was able to drive the ICE version of my car and see how much better electric is. It’s clear that BMW spent more time on technological innovation than simply designing a new chassis, and it was worth it.

I also have a Silverado (ICE) and as it stands I would prefer the Lightning rather than the Silverado EV for actual hauling stuff in the bed. It just looks more believable as a truck and had fewer gimmicks. Familiar body styles will go a long way convincing anti-EV-ers to eventually transition. The Silverado seems more geared to people already accepting of an EV who just want something big.

I admit I do cry myself to sleep every night wishing I had a frunk. /s
