Trying to rehome a cat, so far both responses want me to bring the cat to them..is this a red flag?

I'm just wondering why you assumed so much malice from the potential owners when it is most likely a case of those people NOT having a car. You talk about being poor and not affording gas but did you consider that maybe those people just live far away and don't have a car at all? Therefore cannot get to op unless they walk for 2 hours or something? For many years I didn't have a car because I live in a city where public transport is good. I also had to ask the previous owner of one of my cats if he could bring the cat to me because he lived way outside the city and that was inaccessible to me. He did deliver on that and the cat had a happy life with my family. So thanks for assuming every person without a car is poor I guess?
