Trying to wrap my head around the huge reaction about how the FBI allegedly obtained Federal Intelligence Surveillance.

If you need diagrams to follow the story, then the place to go is the Conservative treehouse, as Sundance maps everything out. A a fellow TBI survivor, I know what you mean about liking it all laid out. The other thing I like about Treehouse is when Sundance writes a new article on something, he always links to older articles-- for those who need to refresh memory-- within the article.

It is a big deal because it now appears that:

  1. The FBI was already investigating a political candidate before the dossier (politicization of our intelligence agencies is a BIG no-no)

  2. That the FBI hired Fusion GPS-- a Company that in the past was denounced multiple times before congress as a smear for hire firm-- and allowed them access to classified information, despite the fact people not legally allowed to see such information would see it.

  3. Fusion GPS is also paid, later, by the Clinton Campaign to do "opposition research". This so-called research was the entirely unsubstantiated Steele dossier-- many elements can be traced back to troll posts on 4 chan.

  4. Meanwhile, the Feds got this dossier from my asshat senator, Mc Cain, and used it to justify a warrant to wire tap citizens. Bear in mind, there is no sign the FISA judge OR the FBI EVER TRIED TO VERIFY, OR WAS ABLE TO VERIFY ANYTHING-- AND NOTHING IN IT WAS ILLEGAL EITHER, in terms of "collusion".

OBAMA TRAVELED OPENLY TO RUSSIA DURING HIS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN-- BEFORE HE WON THE NOMINATION-- AND MET WITH HEADS OF STATE. THAT WAS NEVER INVESTIGATED (though it should have been).

  1. So tyou now have a judge, issueing the most serious type of warrant we have-- the kind that * is never supposed to be issued without mountains of hard evidence crimes are occurring*-- based on a dossier written by a foreign operative, for a
