I have no official data to go off of obviously but I’d bet that if you polled those average joes on what they think of Alex they’d say by an overwhelming majority that they don’t like him. Mostly because the media witch-hunting him and partly because every time they see a clip of him he’s screaming and ranting incoherently. The average guy knows him as the “gay frog” guy as well as the “sandy hook” guy and they don’t know a single thing he stands for ideologically. I’d say in the grand scheme of things that works against Alex’s favour in the public sphere. Going back to my original comment, I’d like to see Alex sit down and do a sane interview to improve his image in the public’s eyes, it’d do Alex a world of good, maybe ditch the crazy schtick for a 15 min sit down interview.
