So…we’re not sure said person exists. We’re just assuming the only reason anyone would want to work at twitter is cause they have to because they’ll lose their visa. Even though it’s perfectly logical to stay in your job until you have something else lined up…even if you’re not on a visa…especially when a bunch of other people in your field are being laid off.

Moreover, our assumption that these forced laborers exist because we saw a picture posted on twitter and just assumed everyone’s immigration status.

I’m not denying the H1B is a pretty rigid visa classification (at all). I’m just not prepared to hold this instance up as an example of the shortcomings of the H1B until we know more.
