Uhhhhh, are we inbred?

Ok look, i read multiple articles stating that modern turks in anatolia and middle east have very little genetic connections to the oghuz turks.(seljuks). And that most anatolian turks have 7 to 10 percent genetic similaritoes to the seljuks.

Did you read braindead Persians' post? Because it sounds like it.

The actual percentage of Seljuk contribution is largely unknown. Because we don't have any Seljuk samples. Hence the actual scientists, not some basement Farrokh, base our estimations on actual Asians. Like this study. Which used Chinese/Japanese samples to determine Turkic contribution.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4236450/

The weight for the migration event predicted to originate from the branch ancestral to East Asia (presumably Central Asia) into current-day Turkey was 0.217 (21.7%). Although this implies a major population event from the East to West Asia, we note that these weights are not direct estimates of the migration rates. First, the original contributing populations to the ancestral population in Turkey are not known

The range of Asian admixture in Turks usually ranges from 5% to 25%. This however shouldn't mean that it's the total Seljuk contribution because Turkmens were never 100% asian in any part of history. Modern Turkmens are also largely around just 20-40% Asian.

Then there are haplogroup studies. Which gives a similar range from East-Eurasian based haplogroups. Which is around 5-15% depending on the region. But this doesn't matter either because haplogroups are a tiny part of your actual heritage.

And last time i checked this can only be avhieved with inbreeding

That's nonsense. Japanese are around 90% identical to iron age Yayoi people. Are they super inbred?
