Unconditional love between a father and his son with autism

I saw your comments on the history of ABA. This is why every parent must be involved. We were lucky, it was in home and monitored.
The other issue here is that people must realize there is no “one” autism. There are a thousand variations of grey. We were fortunate to align our son’s needs / things he wanted with the right program. Also there is no one right program. Often it has to be a combination of therapy (of some form), medicine if needed, the right school environment. It really needs to be a village raising the child. Knowing a couple parents of autistic children, there are many paths to success. TrickyAd7936…. It sounds like you had a very difficult path. I wish you only happiness and success going forward
