So this is my original Sega Saturn from when I was a kid. Taken well care of.

See video for what it’s doing. It does this with the original composite cable, and this video is doing it with the HD Retrovision Saturn adapter and component cables. The only cable it doesn’t do it with is a cheap S-Video cable from Retrobit I think.

With the cables I have a problem with, lightly touching the port while it’s on produces these results but it also does it spontaneously; ie with no force on the port or anything.

I’ve installed an xstation recently and a picoboot for GameCube so I’m not afraid of soldering. Would it be worthwhile to reflow the AV port points on the board? I don’t want to screw anything up. Any videos folks know of?

Otherwise I guess just live with S-Video which does look fine.
