Waiters/waitresses of Reddit, when was the last time you got angry at a customer?

So the last time I got angry at a customer was yesterday (Saturday, 2/21/2015). A customer of mine was waiting to pay and when I swiped her card, the computer blinked DENIED I told the lady what had happened and she stormed off, following me to the cashier. I swiped it again and I showed her the screen. She began to raise her voice at me, "I don't know what the fuck is wrong with y'all, but I have money in my account. You're fuckin' something up." Of course I get embarrassed because she's cussing me out in front of other customers and my co-workers. Luckily, there's a bank in front of the restaurant and she sends her daughter over to take out some money. Because I have a ton of other tables to tend to, our host asks the woman to sit in the waiting area. She agrees. When her daughter got back, she began to yell for me while I was greeting other tables/helping other guests. After a minute or so, I go back to take her money and she puts her damn hands in my face, yelling, "I've been standing her for too fucking long. All these servers keep walking around and none of them help me. It's like all of y'all dumb as fuck, lookin' at my muthafuckin' face, doing nothing." I just stare at this woman and I'm like, "Ma'am, I apologize that none of my co-workers could help me. I'm here to help you now." She continued to cuss me out, repeating the same thing, over and over again. I got so angry all I could say was, "Ma'am... If this is truly a problem, you can leave without paying. It's fine. I refuse to accept such a rude attitude." She stopped cussing, threw the money in my face and stormed out while saying, "Fuck you bitch. Terrible fucking service, you don't deserve shit." Of course she gave me no tip, which is okay because I didn't want money from someone like that. It sucks to know that people think this attitude is acceptable... especially in a family restaurant.
