Yeah I figured, currently there is white paint, but I will be painting the walls dark grey before doing any of this - would that work? or do you actually mean straight up black matte paint? If so, I could do that as well... and as you can see in the pictures, the perpendicular wall is not actually a full wall, just a portion (and I will also be putting a curtain, or something else to close the portion to the right of the screen).

As for the speakers, honestly I'm not a very techy person, but I notice there's a cable coming out of the bottom of the wall I want to put the screen one, and this same cable comes out from the wall behind the speakers currently hung next to the sofa... (from the previous owners)... So I imagine they're wired from above or something, through the suspended ceiling? Even if that was not the case, I could just put the speakers under the screen, correct? Since I'm just limited horizontally - vertically, I've got plenty more space than necessary (which is only 53.75'').

Having heard this, would you say I should do it?
