What are you going to do in 2015? Near my senior year in college. I am almost there!! I want to keep my overall battle of depression and anxiety strong, and try new things.
Are you a City mouse or Country mouse? I'm a lovely city mouse! Ive always lived in the city in the states, but everywhere I lived in Germany it was in the countryside, almost as if I lead a second life!
What was your first job? My first job was working as a "student ambassador" for my university, traveling around my city, encouraging teens to go to university. Even if it wasnt our own, we wanted them to choose an educated path.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? I love chocolate chip cookie dough if the dough is in huge pieces, I love oreo flavored ice cream and I especially love anything with marscapone or caramel in it....omg
What is your absolute favorite color? Black. I exited my goth stage ages ago, but black is so sleek, so flattering. Its sexy and deep and mysterious. But I love splashes of color!
What is your favorite breakfast cereal? Honey Bunches of Oats...or, Ill admit....Reeses Cereal..
What is your typical morning routine? Rinse with CeraVe cleanser, exfoliate with some aha/bha from Paulas Choice, moisturize with CeraVe, then prime makeup with L'Oreal, and finish up with some foundation and setting powder from Benefit.
What is your computer background right now? This. I like the whole hacker feel.
You get free lessons to learn a new language: which one is it? Spanish! I already know German and am studying it but I dont get to utilize it as much as Id be able to with Spanish.
What was the last thing you ate? Oh boy....a slice of Chocolate Ganache cake after a Chipotle Sofritas burrito (do not recommend the sofritas).
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up and how close did you come/will you come? Heh, I wanted to become a few things. A meteorologist, a tattoo artist. Turns out I want to do neither. Im studying German and Tourism instead.
What restaurant/bar/venue do you recommend to people when they ask where to go? (can be in any city, not necessarily your own). My city: Le Peep's. Other city: VooDoo Doughnuts....because delicious!
What is your favorite holiday? Probably Thanksgiving, but not really for the sentimental value, really for the cooking and the recipe/idea building that my boyfriend and I can put into it. We had a super fun menu built last year.
What song can you not get out of your head lately? Tove Lo's remix....I love to cruise in the car with this music.....even in freezing temperatures, I have the windows down.
Which month is the best month and why? April because I love to see the plants start coming to life again and weather warming up. Plus, spring pastels are back! Otherwise September. Changing of the leaves? Yes.
Who did you text last and what did it say? My best friend telling her I enjoyed meeting her new girlfriend and she has a great personality.
You can only use ONE brand of makeup from now on. Which one is it? MAC. I dont even own all of their products, but they have a wide variety of high quality products. Why would I choose otherwise?
Why is your SO or bestie the best? My SO is the best because he lets me be me, no restrictions apply. He might as well by my bestie, we always laugh so hard at the silliest things and we really improve each others lives. Plus, hes a good cook!
What’s one thing on your bucket list? More world travel. I dont know if Ill make it to every country, but I am going to die trying! (lol)
If you made a Confession Kid meme about yourself, what would it say? sniffles and slobbers through my tears [To my mother] Mom...do....do you remember when the lamp broke and you yelled at our dog precious, making her go to her cage......that....that was actually me. I BROKE THE LAMP MOM, NOT PRECIOUS!
If you had to choose the name for your future son or daughter when you were in elementary school, what would their name be? Loonette (from the kids show Loonette and Molly from the Big Comfy Couch) and for the sons name probably Nye, like Bill Nye because he was so AWESOME.
What dish/meal that you make is your best? There is not only one, but I am SO good at German Currywurst, the creamiest mashed potatoes and the best from scratch mashed potatoes, but the cake is taken by homemade pizza with mozzarella, feta, artichoke, chicken and alfredo sauce.
Who would you switch bodies with for a day if you could? Honestly, I tried to think of a cool answer, but I dont want to be anyone else but myself. For curiosity probably a blind person, because I want to experience life like that for a moment.
Where is the worst place in the country and why? Detriot. Im sorry for the people who live there, I wish I could take you away and teach you to thrive in a lifestyle which is not corrupt and every moment could be your last (depending on what part you live in)
Someone hands you a plane ticket to any single destination in the world. Where do you go? Switzerland. I know they dont speak proper German there, by my German will get me close enough to understanding most of everyone. Its beautiful, historical, has a healthy economy, lovely people, great transportation and I can easily travel anywhere in Europe or the world from there. Its perfect in every way.
