Do you think that Autistics/ADHDers are more likely to wear alternative fashion clothing?

I think you need to consider masking vs not masking. An ASD/ADHD may choose to wear clothing because the social benefit is beneficial despite that the preparation and understanding of what makes it attractive is frustrating. In my own sense, I middle school was the point when I looked around and realized everyone made a sudden change over summer that I didn't. Everyone started caring about hair styles, clothing brands, shoes, fragrances - things I just didn't give a crap about. But my lack of fitting in made me suffer socially, so I got a different haircut, started using product, changed my shoes and wore clothes that I didn't like just to escape ridicule. But in my Senior year of highschool I changed everything. I stopped styling my hair, I started wearing shirts from the thrift store rather than name brands, I didn't care about the cuts of pants or types of shoes I had. In a round about way, I think that we fall into trends to stop ridicule, but at some point we don't see the logic in conforming and wear what we want.

Do you think that most fashion trends are sensory-friendly?

It depends. Right now as street wear and alt styles are becoming more popular, the idea of a professional wearing baggy clothes and hoodies is far more acceptable than in the past. If I lived in an earlier era where I had to wear dress clothes to work I would break. Just maintaining the ironing and creases is way too much for me to keep up on and I think takes me far longer to accomplish due to my perfectionism.

In short, I don't give a crap about fashion and I don't understand why people care about the clothes, watches or shoes they wear. While I will agree, there are certain styles that I see as more interesting than others, I won't go out of my way to find or try them because I'm satisfied with what is comfortable and easy to acquire.
