"Planet": Nar Shaddaa (Actually a moon).

Senator Banda the Hutt wishes to join the Senate and, by doing that, include the moon of Nar Shaddaa in the Republic Senate. Banda was born on Nar Shaddaa and was constantly surrounded by crime and villainy on the streets of this moon. Banda was born of rich Hutts, as Hutts are of course top of the caste on Nar Shaddaa. He was spoiled, but also sheltered from much of the criminal society of Nar Shaddaa and the dealings of the Hutt Cartel. As Banda grew up and became independent, he was suddenly shown everything wrong with Nar Shaddaa. Ever since then, Banda had always wanted to make a difference. Banda always saw 2 main problems with society on Nar Shaddaa:

• All of the crime on Nar Shaddaa. Nar Shaddaa is commonly known as the Smugglers Moon due to its excessively high crime rate. Nar Shaddaa is home to smugglers, bounty hunters, murderers, bandits, human traffickers, and scum of all kinds. As Senator, Banda wishes to call in the help of the Republic to change that.

• Racism against Hutts. Hutts, while often rich and power on Nar Shaddaa, are viewed as disgusting greedy slugs. By joining the Senate, Banda wishes to prove to both the Republic and the civilians of Hutt-occupied worlds that Hutts can be trustworthy, helpful, and cultured people.

  While Banda was never a trained politician, he believes that he has experienced first-hand everything wrong with Nar Shaddaa, and knows how to fix it with representation from the Republic.

  Banda also hopes that Nar Shaddaa's representation may create a close, powerful bond between the Republic and Hutt Cartel that could bring order to many systems.

  Nar Shaddaa is very technologically advanced, and many businesses, banks, et cetera are based there. Nar Shaddaa has a thriving economy that could give both the Republic and the Hutt Cartel an upper-hand in the galaxy. Nar Shaddaa also sports a diversity of cultures, be it Hutts, Rodians, Gungans, Zabraks, Trandoshans, Quarren, or Ithorian.

  Nar Shaddaa currently has no military other than that of the Hutt Cartel. However, with the representative of the Hutt Cartel in the Senate currently being demanded for arrest, the Hutt Cartel has problems of their own in the rest of the galaxy and cares little of Nar Shaddaa. This is why Banda strongly encourages the Republic to employ their clone military there.
