Wow... oddly, We were just saying the other day that it was strangely quiet everywhere about McDaniels leading up to the Super Bowl. I mean everyone was talking about Patricia nationally and him leaving NE and it just didn't seem like the same was happening for McDaniels. I kept dismissing it thinking I just wasn't paying very close attention but when my husband brought it up the other day I realized it wasn't just me. We even searched around to see if there had been an announcement that the colts had gone a different direction but nothing.

I've privately been a little worried that Patricia would return to the Pats in 4-5 years to take over for BB and was secretly pleased that so many Pats fans gave him crap about the game because that would certainly deter everyone from that scenario but now it's hard not to Wonder if maybe it was the plan but after the SB everyone decided they needed something else. Huge speculation, I know, but I'm just blown away that this happened.
