I have spec’d A LOT of West Elm furniture and it is not the best quality. Especially when you can find extremely similar products of the same quality on wayfair, overstock, and fourhands.

It gets the job done, it looks nice, but I don’t think it lasts very long. We spec a lot of west elm, pottery barn, CB2, etc furniture at the design firm I work for bc it works great for models in commercial residential projects. Where no heavy every day use will occur, just normal wear and tear from people checking out a unit.

It’s a gorgeous desk, but check out similar products from wayfair and overstock. I believe you will find something in similar quality and aesthetic for much cheaper.
