In general interview invitations may even be sent in November and December with scheduling the interviews till 1st week of Feb, 2022.
It is not a bad option to send in expression of interest mails to about 30- 50 programs from the IMG friendly states. You need to do a thorough research of the program via their website, focusing on faculty research activities/ teaching activities/ fellowships offered/ any new innovative programs or even their location as points of your interests. Choose only one area to mention and only one research area of a specific faculty as your primary interest in applying their program. Attach your CV. Mention your USMLE scores and your ERAS ID/ Token number for reference.
