What are some dog friendly establishments in the area?

Honestly, the idea is really just to expose him to environments that would be potentially scary for him in order to avoid future issues when he is an adult. Shibas are known for being aloof and introverted at times and I want to make sure I socialize him correctly to avoid any behavior problems. I really expected most results to be dog/pet-related businesses, not hardware stores and breweries. I do leave him at home 99% of the time, I work a 9-5 job during the week and I try to stay home most nights. I don't just go out shopping and bring the dog along, but if I knew a place was especially welcoming, we might make a special trip. This is not something I knew people would have such strong opinions about, especially thinking of MY dog because he is usually so well behaved and if he wasn't, I would remove him from the situation. I do try to be aware of our surroundings and if someone is obviously uncomfortable, we walk away. I can understand your concern but also, unless you're allergic, it doesn't affect you personally. I'm sorry that you have to deal with disabilities but I hope you can work past this bitterness.
