You're treating this like a part time job and not a officer training environment.

The POC are also still learning how to be leaders.

Also, learning how to resolve conflicts within your chain is something an officer needs to know how do as well.

That's why your Cadre will tell you to utilize the chain of command.

Yes, he did resolve the issue, but now the POC and GMC thinks he's someone that will report you without any notice or any chance of correction.

OP already said prior that some of the GMC doesn't care and disagree with him.

My best advice to OP in the long run would be to bring it up the chain first and AFTER that doesn't work, go to Cadre.

If it gets resolved at a Squadron or a Group level, then it would look better on him.
