I'm from the EU, i have exactly average salary for my country, still the content is out of my reach and can't see myself commiting to a season. Which i would love to do. Especially that tough times are close around corner.

Then there is stuff like using third party software to see other players liveries. Meh orange graphics and outdated ui. Non existent test drives are a cash grab and the availability as well as execution of the test server is a joke.
In comparison to competition, only thing worth paying for is the reliability of racing and the community, but it's just a matter of time until someone comes and does better reliability, and the community will follow.
I root for iRacing, but can't justify it for myself.

Luckily there seems to be a bit of movement in simracing, and i'll spectate the race for the client with great attention.
