Thinking about reporting the leader for this pace lap (Part 2)

Appreciate the argument but point remains that saying this is something more than a video game is delusional and may give the false sense that you are accomplishing more than you actually are. Video games are a great tool to get people who'd otherwise never be competitive 'up-to-speed' competing with one-another, but the specific skills you're developing you'd be hard-pressed to apply in life. In fact, I'd be very surprised if anything but a small minority got the opportunity (esp. considering the intersection w/ the subreddit) to understand what skills do transfer (beyond the obvious).

The insistence to elevate it to some status not reach-able by other video games reeks of elitism and ignorance of both competition in other video games and real-life racing. Again it's delusional.
