What do you think the best TV under $600 is on Best Buy's site right now?

It depends on the model. I bought a 40H5500 from Best Buy last summer for $429+tax. I made sure to doublecheck that it had a Samsung panel. I'm happy with it.

There's only a few problems I have with my TV. The 40H6350 is better for the money, and the 40H5500 has slightly higher input lag and slightly more motion blur than the Sony alternative I found (40 W600B)in the same price range and size. However, those Sony alternatives have worse side angle viewing, worse smart features, thicker border, thicker panel, and I'm not a fan of the type of stand it has.

No matter what tv you buy, there's going to be some plusses and negatives. I only bring up these factors, since I originally changed from a 40H6350 to the 40H5500 to save some money to buy a sound system, but after consideration after buying it, I realized I should have looked more at that Sony tv. I watch a lot of football and at times, frequent action movies and action-filled video games, the Sony would have been more functional in that way. Although, the side angle view being terrible really made me get over it. I can barely tell that there's blur when I'm watching sports, etc.

Here's a great resource for reviews and ratings on different factors to consider when buying a TV. Bare in mind, the website isn't organized that well, despite having plenty of content. http://www.rtings.com

And you should really wait a few weeks until it gets further into Summer. Best Buy starts putting every TV on sale 24/7. Just follow them for awhile until the tv you pick out is more reasonably priced. You can pricematch after purchase too, which helps. Sometimes the same tv will go up and down all over, but once purchased, you can still take advantage of a later sale (up to 14 days I believe, if you're a member of their free loyalty program, Best Buy Rewards)
