We are a family of 5, including one 8 month old baby. We have two SW companion passes for domestic travel that expire at the end of 2017.. We currently use these to visit family spread across the country. But have been interested finding a few options for normal vacations to take advantage of these better. In the past we have really enjoyed the beaches of Hawaii (via Avios) and snorkeling, so one idea was to One idea has been going to Cancun. We also wouldn't mind getting back to Hawaii, but our free lodging there (family) has moved away.
Assuming being added as an authorized user and my amazon store card count as part of 5/24 - I am at 5. However, my wife only has 4. So thoughts are to have my wife get the CSP. After that maybe the hyatt or hilton card for the free nights, to use at a resort, possibly in Cancun. Of course hoping that co branded cards don't worry about 5/24. Are there any other suggestions for what might work well for this? Or alternate similar type of destinations? So of our cards also have really high credit limits. Do I need to try and decrease these to improve chance of being approved?
