What is a huge hockey market like

Canadian cities except for Toronto are all different from typical American cities because not only is hockey the most popular sport, it's the only sport. Nobody really talks about the NFL or NBA in those other cities. College sports is unheard of in Canada. You turn on sports radio and its Habs talk. SportscentRE opens up with hockey news and highlights.

There are people who follow other sports in Canada but they exist in small pockets. It's kind of like being a fan of board games, you can find a community in every city but don't expect to be able to talk to everyone about it.

Toronto is different because we embrace NHL, NBA, TFC and MLB pretty hard here as a result of having representation in all three leagues.
