To be honest, I had initially thought that Gen 1 wouldn’t do so great in the radioactive island. But after some thinking, they could probably handle it.

Now Island and Action didn’t really give me high hopes for Gen 1 since ROTI is easily in the most dangerous season in Total Drama history. Plus compared to Gen 2, the veterans were generally “normal” compared to the Gen 2 competitors, who a majority of them had absurd levels of physical or mental (or supernatural in Dawn and technically Dakota’s case) skills to get through the season.

But it’s World Tour that would give Gen 1 the edge to possibly survive the toxic island. Having dealt with aliens, ancient curses, deadly animals, and challenges involving volcanos while on their globetrotting season.

Now does this mean they’ll do better than Gen 2 in Revenge? Probably not. While Gen 1 would have a “just another day at the office” kind of attitude at this point, they’re still going to have a lot of trouble making it through these challenges without seriously injuring themselves. Mostly because (like I said earlier) they are generally the most “normal” out of every other generation.
