Im gonna get alot of heat for this but when I first got into reps, I immediately went straight for the 1:1 super reps but upon research, I was baffled at how they would even consider something a super rep when the movement is blatantly shown through a see through case-back that's not even close to gen.

Take the Planet Ocean CrPO for example. It's a super rep according to that list yet it's visible movement is not even 50% close to the gen movement. There's more than 5 gold pieces shown in the movement. How is this a super rep???

The planet ocean LMPO has the wrong second-hand tip and is considered a super-rep also...

Meanwhile, you have a few other planet ocean's on PureTime that have decorated 2824 movements with black balance wheels and look much more closer to gen than the "super reps".

Not to mention the 37.5mm Planet Ocean by V6F that actually uses the NH Seiko movement. Look at this detail on movement.... yet nobody even mentions this watch on any boards.

Same goes for the 40.5mm Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5. It's pretty much a 1:1 but nobody mentions it on any "super rep" lists.

I personally think that "super rep" list is BS and you can find way better reps if you do your research.
