Parking on shoulder at Newark airport

you must not visit other airports often if you think stopping on the shoulder is a uniquely newark airport problem lol...

but anyways, your point here is semantics. my use of logical in my post isn't in reference specifically stopping on a shoulder, but that stopping before the airport infrastructure begins is the most logical point to stop for most people. whether that area is a shoulder or not is outside the point here, it just happens that the most logical area to stop before entering the airport is often shoulders.

things can be logical to some folks while not being legal or right, if that's your main gripe. if human nature functioned entirely on facts and laws, then none of those drivers would stop on the shoulder. but since they do... your 'respectful disagreement' is pretty moot.
