What movie do you absolutely love, yet acknowledge is not a super well-made movie?

Xanadu.

Probably the best movie soundtrack to that point in time, with 4 or 5 songs hitting the top 20 simultaneously. ONJ is at her prime, "Dancin'" might be the first cross-genre mashup ever (and it's a banger, do yourself a favor and take it in https://youtu.be/kCm0_93WCCA)

But the script was utter dog shit and the acting was atrocious. Xanadu is credited with killing careers all over the place - Michael Beck - fresh off "The Warriors" - only appeared in B movies afterward, Gene Kelly never danced on film again, and Jeff Lynne could never bring himself to ever watch the movie https://ultimateclassicrock.com/xanadu-electric-light-orchestra/. Xanadu was just so obviously crafted around the soundtrack and not vice versa.

A horrible, terrible movie (with a stellar soundtrack) that I love beyond words.
