Hi! Same situation here, sold biz at 35 am $R af and semi-retired, in these conversations with strangers I generally play up my hobbies and interests; for example stranger says “what do you do for a living” I reply “I’m in fashion and real estate” because I buy fly shit and have a few properties. Easy. Then move the conversation to something else, and if they pry skip over that and keep discussing something else. For example “oh fashion tell me about that?” “Great party this is such a nice place, I see my partner/friend/colleague, nice to chat with you” eventually the people that are around that really know your situation or a little bit more about you will share it with that person and look how cool you played it. Easy. Shit I’m about to go to a party where I have more on my wrist then probably everyone there has in their bank accounts combined, no big deal, people just trying to have a good time.
