What’s the most totally overrated classic rock artist/band?

They've always been a thing as far as I recall. Adverts for them used to be on TV like every year around Christmas and Father's Day.

Usually theyre just filled with Deep Purple, Queen and maybe some AC/DC (which may or may not be """too heavy""" for some dads). Yano, just your typical big rock singles repackaged so your kids can buy you the same songs every year. Nothing wrong with any of those bands but, let's be real, they're the bands "your dad" likes and we know which songs of theirs are on it without even looking at the track listing. It's not a place you'll find an underappreciated B-Side.

The newer ones still have all those songs on, just alongside some newer songs that make me feel old now...Especially not being a dad, I forget I'm actually old enough to have a 15 year old if I knocked somebody up straight after leaving school.

There's also "Absolute Driving Rock" and some other stuff which are basically all the same album with a different title. I wouldn't be surprised if they literally are all the same album repackaged.

Just crap presents for your dad basically. The dad equivilant of getting socks and a Lynx gift set for Christmas when you're 14.
