Anyone else starting to get really turned off by how they are marketing this album?

Honestly, I much prefer the current approach to what happened with Lover's 4 deluxe cds. When everyone gets the same content, it feels more like they're just offering more choices to have your own personal version of the album- you're not missing out on anything by buying one, and if collector's want to they can buy the full set and be satisfied.

Whereas when you're just getting one part of a clearly numbered series, where you're encouraged to buy the other ones to 'complete' the diary, it feels much more like you're being pushed to buy all four of them. Just owning 'Lover Deluxe Set No. 3' and nothing else feels a bit strange. Owning Midnights But Purple on it's own just feels like that's your version and you're not missing out on anything else.
