What salary level is "comfortable" in LA? What is wealthy?

I commented earlier about I’d consider 150k being comfy, I don’t make 150k I just thought I’d be comfy if I do make that much, and I consider I’m doing just ok, not comfy level yet

I used to make 40-50k in 2019, it was alright until my family was sued for something completely not our fault for $8k, we consulted a lawyer and lawyer did say that if we want to fight in court there’s a good chance of winning but then lawyer fee would be about 12k ish, he suggested we pay that 8k call it a day instead of fighting the case to save money on our end. Such unexpected shit could literally happen to anyone, the actual cause was a paperwork mistake by someone totally unrelated to us nor the case. So as you can image 8k debt outa nowhere right before Covid hit, my seemingly normal ok life suddenly became difficult, definitely not comfy.

Also I love snowboarding but would only go on easy lane because I cheap out on insurance got the cheaper coverage to save money, so I’d be screwed if I happen to take a bad fall and had to call ambulance therefor I always only do easy lane. While it’s good I can afford the occasional snowboard trips, can’t say I was living a comfortable life on that income.
