oof. i'd love to support your interest in seeing joshua tree, but you'd have to carve out an entire day for that unless you are driving from LA to Vegas and want to just catch a quick look. given your timeframe, it's likely not feasible.

others have given really good insight into how to coordinate things, but as someone who has been to joshua tree more than a few times, i know from experience it's not something one can shoehorn in.

also, pay close attention to those who've told you walk of fame etc are underwhelming, but the good thing is that you'll figure that out pretty quickly and it will take maybe an hour of your time to do so.

btw, i do want to add, as a fan of live comedy: i'd skip the comedy store if the groundlings have a show when you'll be in town. THAT is worth the effort. a hidden gem. i mean, see the comedy store and take a pic out front, but if you're going to take an hour or two for a show, the groundlings are where it's at.
