Well... I hate to admit this...

But I've come to the conclusion that 666 has become a genuinely, and horrifically evil number!

Trying to look at this from a more "scientific" viewpoint, I've come to the conclusion that the number "666" really does appeal to those who are psychologically, and sociologically, dangerously psychotic.

In other-words, I suspect that those who are psychotic, or attracted to torturing/harming other humans and animals, purposely gravitate to this number, due to it's historic connotations.

This means, for example, that if the number "777" was specified in the bible as the number of the beast, then mentally deranged people, and psychopaths, would just naturally gravitate to the number "777" rather than "666".

For example, in my city, there was someone who committed a HIGHLY HORRIFIC murder, and that person also tortured animals... and his online handle included the number "666".

Similarly in high school, I knew several people who were the absolute lowest-of-the-low, in terms of hurting and mistreating other people, and they seemed to have a fascination with the number "666", along with Nazi imagery and symbolism.

Likewise, right here on Reddit, I've noticed that a lot of people who have the number "666" in their user name, are often really angry, hostile, and say rather vile things.

So... in short... I guess I'm not saying that the number "666" is some kind of mystical magical number...

Instead, I believe that people who have turned to the "dark side" in life, and have fostered their inner anger (instead of embracing their inner love/kindness) are attracted to the number 666... due to it's literary/historic symbolism.

So, if you have a friend who likes to use the number "666" a lot, I would be cautious!

BE WARNED: They just might really be a genuine psychopath, and have an attraction to that number, due to it's historic connotations!
