What is unethical as fuck, but is extremely common practice in the business world?

When your manager only works 20 hours a week but he's on salary so it's ok, and he said he works until midnight sometimes but is always behind on his work. The regional manager and owner live in different states so they don't know what's really going on. The worst part that bothers me is when I need to leave 30min early it's like I'm the bad worker and when I put in for PTO it's 20 questions why are you going to the Dr? why do you need a therapist? You sure do see a lot of drs? Or gets mad when you're 15 minutes late. But he comes in an hour late takes 3 hour lunches and leaves an hour early everyday.

Sorry for the rant I don't have friends outside of work and only 1 at work so it's hard to vent sometimes. I use Reddit as my make believe friend haha
