What is the worse accident or injury you witnessed first hand? How dif you respond?

I watched two mexican contractors try to move a ladder that a third contractor was on the top of working. The one at the top was about 30 ft high when they attempted to move him. House was a 2 story beach cabin built on 15 ft stilts so he was way up there. It was about 11 am on summer weekend where most of the cabins are tourist rentals. Think large houses just high on stilts, but otherwise typical neighborhood but lining the beach front.

Anyway, the two at the bottom try to pick up the ladder and move it sideways, but the weight of the guy on top causes it to fall backwards away from the house towards the power lines in the front yard. Large metal ladder makes contact with power lines and causes a large crackle and blinding light. Contractor on top of ladder falls 30 ft to the ground after being shocked (electrocuted means death) and one of the ground guys held the ladder and was shocked as well. The third guy let go and proceeded to scream in Spanish. We cleared the deck of our beach cabin and ran over to the scene to see them both lying lifeless but breathing on the front lawn. One was barely moving, the other (top of ladder guy) had been shocked so hard that it caused him to get an erection that popped through his front zipper, which had since gone limp and was just hanging out of the zipper hole. Third un-shocked worker proceeded to scream in Spanish as he, no lie, used a water hose to hose water into the mouth of the guy (top of ladder guy) almost drowning him. A few of us had first aid and CPR training so we began assigning out tasks,

  1. Call 911

  2. Administer CPR.

3.Find someone who speaks spanish.

  1. Rip that fucking hose out of the guys hand before he drowns his friend.

Ambulance finally showed up and we got them loaded in. Hose guy was in tears the whole time, one EMT spoke Spanish and said that they were illegals, and the two that got hurt were a father and son.

All the while this is happening there is a group of party people on the deck of the nearest beach cabin that is way closer to the scene than we were, they are just being obnoxious and cracking jokes and never not even once offered any help. Just insults and drunk yelling.

Police Chief showed up to our cabin later and said they were stable at UTMB, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Said we saved their lives even if they were in a coma. When he left he went to the party cabin with backup and busted a bunch of them for underage alcohol and found some drugs and shut down the party for them. Probably wouldn't have even given them a second glance if they weren't so stupid during the accident. Most parties like that go unnoticed where we were unless you are incredibly stupid.

TL;DR: Two illegals almost get electrocuted when 30 ft ladder contacts power line. One gets shocked so bad his erection pops through his zipper hole.
