Gen I/Red: Squirtle. I have a hard time deciding over which is my favorite gen 1 starter though, Charmander or Squirtle. I love each line so much it's impossible for me to choose. Each member of both lines is so perfect but yet so simple. This is in stark contrast to bulbasaurs line which i think is repetitive and boring. I geuss I chose Squirtle because it has the edge on Charmander.

Gen II/Gold: Cyndaquil. I like Totodiles initial design and typing more, but as it evolves I don't like Feraligatr, but the Cyndaquil line is great in every stage. Quilava might be my favorite though. I am praying for mega gen 2 starters in sun and moon.

Gen III/Sapphire: Treecko. Treecko is my favorite starter ever. This is funny because it is the only grass starter I really like. Treecko is beyond cute and still very cool. As it evolves it becomes less cute and more cool, and Sceptile is basically the epitemy of badass. Mega Sceptile is also dragon and grass type, the only of it's kind.
