What is your least favorite choreography from the groups you stan?

I’m sure the reason it feels super last-minute is because it WAS created sort of last-minute but Aespa’s Yeppi Yeppi choreo was quite the let down for me. Felt really generic for a song so uplifting. I know a lot of people expressed their disappointment with Girls but I didn’t mind it. A more intricate choreo would have clashed with the song which was very intricately arranged, I feel. It definitely could’ve felt more fluid, but yeah, YeppiYeppi deserved better. I suppose it was just for the purpose of the fan showcases so I do hope that if they were to include the song in their tour (whenever it is), it’s elevated a whole lot coz the song is an energy booster.

Probably one of my favorite SNSD songs ever is All Night but the dance… idk where exactly to pinpoint my issue with it but it just doesn’t have any impact whatsoever. The formations, the sequences, even some individual moves all feel haphazardly stitched together. The only move I love from the entire thing is during Sunny’s lines (second half of first chorus). For contrast, Lil Touch didn’t even have a full choreo but even the little we saw of it works so well with the song. Visual Dream was goofy to me as well. Looks under-rehearsed, doesn’t really fit the group, but for the sake of comic relief I’ll let that pass.

For Red Velvet, I really don’t think Power Up’s choreo adds anything to the song. Even though they’re not really known for difficult choreo, they still have their signature slightly-quirky style which compliments their sound (doesn’t apply for their velvet songs which I feel have their better choreos —Automatic being my favorite). Power Up feels oddly low energy, unimaginative and sadly a tad boring.

I can’t take f(x)’s Hot Summer seriously ever for the chorus. I just can’t. It feels like Lesson 1 for a Get Fit From Home workout YT video or something.
