What was your "oh shit, my parents did that because they really loved me" realization?

I was having a really bad day, since me and my best friend got into a really heated argument. Since we didn't forgive each other right away, my best friend and other best friend turned against me. When I told my Mom about how upset I was about it, she said, "Give me your iPad. I'm gonna talk to them." I refused at first, since my friends knew how overprotective my Mom could be. My Grandma was also with us, so she said, "Dannie, give your mother the iPad. She's gonna help you." I finally gave in, and gave my Mom my iPad. I cried in my Grandma's arms while my Mom was angrily typing to my friends. My Grandma said, "What they did wasn't right, Dannie. They know that you're going through a tough time. That's why your Mom's gonna talk to them and explain some things." When my Mom was done typing her first message, one of my friends answered a while later. She said, "Is this really Dannie's Mom?" And I told my Mom that I pranked them before saying I was you. She didn't care and got more upset with them. (I don't know why. I don't think saying that was a big deal.) She basically typed that she would be happy to call my friends's Moms if they didn't believe it was her. And both of them didn't want that, so they believed her. After a while, my friends finally apologized for what they did, and everything was fine. I asked my friends if we could become friends again, and they said yes. At first, I thought it was embarrassing what my Mom did, but once I stopped to think about it, my Mom didn't mean to embarrass me. She just loved me and didn't want me to be upset. I love you, Mom.

And don't worry, guys. Me and my friends are doing great now. It's almost been three months since the whole thing happened.
