What is your worst stuttering experience? (Not when you were a kid)

Had a minor heart procedure 2 years ago and needed to lay completely still in recovery room for 8 hours. Nurse forgot to give me call button and my anesthesia wore off sooner than nurse expected. I wasn’t allowed to move or even wiggle. I tried calling out to get her attention…lost track of how many times I failed. She eventually poked her head in.

In pre-op, she was very friendly. it was also an intense Covid time, so she was very very busy.

Got my phone and called family crying saying “I can’t even talk to my nurse”. She must have overheard and assumed I thought she was ignoring me!! She was very very cold for next 6 hrs, which included her needing to touch my groin area a lot…
