I don't understand why the academia world considers Bs to be a failing grade.

Fair enough.

Anyone who tried their best and were able to achieve at least the minimum program requirements, then they are qualified to practice. It is an honorable achievement that should be recognized regardless of where they placed on the spectrum. I agree that students who fall into this bucket should not beat themselves up over the grade they achieved.

However, what you are missing or neglecting to give focus to is the OP advocating for students to not do their best. The OP argues that students should prioritize "reducing stress and pressure" and to do the minimum possible to graduate.

I do not agree with that mindset, especially for those in the healthcare field. In my opinion, anyone with that mindset who is responsible for the lives of others should not be in that position. You and others are welcome to disagree with me.
