My grandmother has a friend (Laurel) that did not have any family, so we adopted her into our family. We went out for a Sunday dinner and was planning my four year son's birthday party for the following Saturday.

My son was very shy, especially around adults. As we were leaving the restaurant, my son runs up to Laurel and gave her a hug. We were all shocked as well as Laurel. She bent down to hug my son and my son tells her goodbye and that he will miss her. Laurel said will I will see you at your birthday party. My son said, no you won't be there. She was like, I will not miss it for anything. My son you will be in heaven.

Laurel died the next morning due to natural causes. Of course, she did not make it to the party.
