What's the goal of the game?

For me it's roleplaying a zombie apocalypse. Game design wise there are clear endgame mechanics such as clearing plague hearts and completing the legacy quest. But for me it's not about the destination. Its about the journey. You can turn your group into whatever you can imagine basically. And the grind does go away the more you play - if you set your base up right.

A quick example - Started a new game and an enclave of mechanics lived nearby. I helped them and moved them to larger garage. It was right next to a fire station base. So I moved my home there. Focused on helping the mechanic group above all else. In the end I had several maxed out vehicles and could rove around Mad Max style. Turned my group into a petrolhead motor gang! Biker leather. Shotguns. Molotov's. My vehicles became my weapons! We rolled into an area in our truck. Horns blaring. Guns firing. All Zombs come running from all directions and we slaughter them all!

There's so much to roleplay as! A group geeks who use distraction and tech to survive. Farmers with huge fields of food. Turn your group into a paramilitary powerhouse with high tech gear and weapons. Become bandits and kill all humans on sight. There's so much freedom in what you can focus on!
