What's up with Graffiti in Athens

Many Greek people will tell you.. "Oh it's part of the city it makes the place more vibrant, it's part of the culture, we are a very expressionist people!" or some other bullshit excuse, the truth is a large portion of the Greek population are a bunch of low life idiots, who have no problem vandalizing everything, they are uncaring and could give a shit about their own cities. I live in New York city arguably the birth place of street art, ironically one of the most influential figures was a Greek himself TAKI 183, he is often called the "grandfather of graffiti" but even New York is not at the level of absurd as Athenian Graffiti

Street art is Greece isn't even street art, it's just vandalism, I can understand graffiti being present in run down places, ally ways, on trains, and highways, etc. But in Greece it's everywhere, I have seen it in the most affluent parts of Athens, on schools, hospitals, and even private fucking property like peoples homes, Businesses and apartment buildings, I've seen it on Museums, historical places, Parks, etc I don't give a shit what your definition of art is, but when you start tagging peoples homes and businesses you're nothing but a vandal. Not to mention the quality of the street "art" is complete shit, it's just stupid tags and some of which are downright vulgar, I have literally seen stuff tagged just saying "HOMO" or "FAG" or "FUCK", not to mention football ultras also tag there stupid shit everywhere like "Gate 13" etc, the Anarchists have there stupid little A in a circle, and even the Nazis... THE FUCKING NAZIS tag shit, Nazis are supposed to be the ones would would execute people for damaging property of the state, but nope they fucking do it too.

So yes Graffiti "culture" is big in Athens and has been for a while
